Bring the outside in, with Para Vert

Ippolito Fleitz Group reimagines our connection with nature through a sophisticated system of biophilic room dividers.

Bring the outside in, with Para Vert

With the world spending so much time at home, a lot of us have had the gift of time to explore our passions and the depths of our creativity. For some of us, too much time on our hands has emphasised our innate need for nature and the outdoors, making us truly appreciate the times that we were engulfed by the greenery of the outside world. Our home offices have started to transform into pockets of mini-jungles – bringing a sense of relief of being stuck inside.

The emphasis on wellbeing and biophilic elements within the workplace, commercial and hospitality sectors is omnipresent – and now, our homes deserve the same. But with the growing enthusiasm to bring the outside in, we need a product that does this effectively and elegantly for plants and humans to thrive within dense, busy environments.

Dynamic, versatile and fit for purpose, Para Vert has the solution. Suitable across residential, commercial and hospitality environments, Para Vert is a system of room dividers that incorporates vertical planting modules to alter and enhance the way we use our everyday spaces.

Designed by the Stuttgart-based multidisciplinary studio, Ippolito Fleitz Group exclusively for Brunner, the transparent spatial filter comprises two different modules crafted for the new-age workplace.

Sets of vertical, curved metal poles are connected together by cylindrical planters, creating a biophilic three-dimensional fixture. These modules are able to be joined together and bolted in various angled positions, resulting in flexible, free-standing room divider combinations – ideal for spaces that differ in room-heights and configurated zonings.

The flexible modularity of the design ensures ease of assembly and brings a simplicity into redistribution and redesigning as required. The Para Vert system comes in two different heights, with versatile applications range spanning from offices to lounge areas to expansive hospitality spaces. At a time where physical social distancing has become the new normal, Para Vert offers an enjoyable way of encouraging this where necessary.

The livelihood of the plants have been greatly considered through the intricate details throughout Para Vert.

The structure consists of breathable plantable containers with poles and disc bases for maximum support. Each module is decorated with a hole pattern to enable the module to be designed in various angle settings. The final look can range from a minimal showcase of statement plants to an abundant show of dense greenery, brightening up the space and overall improving the indoor climate.

The concept was developed by the studio’s head of product design, Tilla Golberg. The results for Para Vert are endless – it can act as a solid, stand-alone screen, a purposeful room divider, a means to separate delineating working zones or a striking feature wall of foliage and greenery to breathe life into the space. Golberg envisioned a multi-faceted personality for Para Vert, putting the power of nature to enliven a space at the forefront once again.

Para Vert is available Australia-wide through Zenith.
