Popular the world over, there is nothing twee about Timorous Beasties’ strong and original creations; in particular their botanical themes and bright colours resonate in Southeast Asia.
Bode, who represent them, say that people find them inspirational, exciting, and very hard to resist. Most of the new designs are digitally printed, which translates to more new designs that are increasingly complex and fantastical. Says Jenny Lewis from Bode, “Timorous Beasties are extremely creative, and they launch new, fabulous designs every few months.”
Featured above is a large gold Napoleon Bee on linen. Funky yet opulent, Napoleon Bee is also available on velvet and wallpaper.
Timorous Beasties have a love for birds and the richly illustrated Parrot is one of six birds to choose from. Some of the birds reappear on their wallpaper designs, too.
