Armed with over 30 years of industry know-how, Ratana offers a wide range of timeless furniture collections to celebrate the outdoors, anywhere you are.
December 14th, 2018
Established in 1980, Ratana is one of the most respected outdoor furniture brands in the North American region. Today, the furniture brand has expanded internationally, offering a wide range of timeless furniture collections to celebrate the outdoors anywhere in the world.
Designed to blend form and function, Ratana’s collections can traverse both the private and public realms with ease. These collections look equally at home decking the pools of five-stars hotels, resorts and Olympic venues, furnishing the chic alfresco area of award-winning restaurants, as well as hosting a family gathering at private homes.
Ratana prides itself as a technical design company at the forefront of construction and development. The company’s creative team of designers, engineers, and innovators are passionate about creating functional, precision furniture for outdoor living. They constantly travel the world, collaborate with leading designers, and discover the latest materials and technology.
The Bogota collection, one of the brand’s latest releases, was inspired by the cobbled streets of the scenic Colombian capital. The collection comprises dining chairs, armchair, sectional sofas and dining tables, with shared design features of tapered legs and luxurious thick braids.
These braids are made of foam encased in weather-resistant polyolefin material that provides maximum comfort and durability. A lightweight powder-coated aluminium frame completes the look, allowing visual lightness without compromising the robustness of the structure.
Bogota‘s woven braid is produced in an understated grey shade that reveals an intriguing texture upon a closer inspection, just like the cobbled streets of its namesake city, while its aluminium frame is available in solid cobalt graphite colour.
Choose any from Ratana’s 123 (and counting) upholstery fabrics for the cushion to add a personal touch to the design.
