Häfele’s newest products are a diverse collection of innovative and smart solutions for the home – especially the kitchen. True to the heritage of the leading German brand, they were developed with deep expertise and for high performance, drawing on Häfele’s experience in producing high-quality furniture fittings, architectural hardware and electronic locking systems.
“In recent years, Häfele has been paying great attention to urbanisation and digitalisation,” says Dominik Fruth, Managing Director of Häfele Singapore. “The new products are our answers to the trends-related questions: how to optimise our shrinking living space in big cities and how to use (control) your furniture as easy as a few touches and swipes on our screens.”
“We hope with the products, Singaporean professionals can find effective solutions for creating functional furniture which can meet users’ demands in the modern age,” he said.
The Slido Design 80-M is a sliding-door hardware system with an invisible upper running track. The wall-hung system can carry a door weight of up to 80kg and a door width of between 800mm and 1,800mm. Its advanced mechanisms allow for two-dimensional adjustment and two-sided soft closing.
The EL7900 electronic lock takes smart home access to the next level. Your phone’s Bluetooth is just one of the ways it can be unlocked. The others are via remote control, a keycard, a passcode – generated and sent by a mobile app – or a good old mechanical key. The mobile app allows you to customise passcode validity periods, remotely unlock, view access logs and check the battery. Also check out the new ER5900 Bluetooth lock.
The new Free Space flap series covers up to 85 percent of all flap applications. It offers a compact design yet remarkable strength, and is suitable for many flap sizes. When opened, Free Space allows the cabinet door to move up, rather than opening from the side, reducing the need to move around cabinet doors and freeing up space. It offers smooth and silent operation and features a soft close mechanism. It brings everything Häfele knows about flap fittings into one practical product.
Matrix Box P is a drawer with a premium design, a spectrum of available colour finishes, and the ability to be integrated with ultiple mechanisms. Do you prefer push-to-open? Soft close? Self closing? It’s your choice.
There are plenty more new products, including the Ixconnect furniture connectors, which make it possible to assemble an entire cabinet efficiently without tools; the LOOX5 furniture lighting system – the fifth generation of Häfele’s popular LED system, which integrates with a mobile app; and the 2020 handle collection – a varied range including a Red Dot Design Award winner.
