Named after a baroque musical composition, Kreon’s deceptively simple Fuga range offers plenty of room to play with light and create an emotional spatial experience.

For Belgian lighting company Kreon, light is a tool to enhance the look and feel of architectural spaces, and create emotional spatial experiences. The company has been providing architectural lighting and metal ceiling solutions for interiors around the world since 1982, and to this day, purity and simplicity are at the heart of its output.
Fuga, one Kreon’s latest collections, is an embodiment of this philosophy. A linear pendant light formed by three slim aluminium bars, Fuga comprises a horizontal aluminium ceiling bar, a vertical suspension bar and a light bar fitted with a CRI85, 2700K warm white LED strip with diffuser. Simple and visually impactful, Fuga offers plenty of room to play around with its composition.
The pendant light is named after the fugue, a musical composition popular during the baroque era, which traditionally consists of three main sections, with the third using the first in a considerably more complex arrangement. Borrowing from this musical composition, Fuga’s light bar can be installed to run parallel or perpendicular to its ceiling bar to create different visual and spatial effects.
Users can adjust the position of the light bar in relation to the suspension bar by sliding it. An additional mechanism would enable the light bar to rotate to 90-degrees. It can also be combined with various driver options to suit the desired dimming protocol. Fuga is offered in three series based on the length of the light bar – Fuga 600, Fuga 900 and Fuga 1200. Each series comprises more variants based on the length of the vertical suspension bar.
Place it flush to the wall to create a dramatic luminaire highlighting surfaces of your choice. Install a few in a uniform composition for a neat, graphic effect, or alter the positions of the light bars to create a visual rhythm – the possibilities are endless.
