Some of the world’s most desirable designers are on the roster at Muuto: Form Us With Love, Claesson Koivisto Rune, Cecile Manz, Normal Studio, Anderssen & Voll and Louise Campbell among them. They, and many others, contribute to a fresh attitude for this Copenhagen-based brand, which is now available in Singapore at Grafunkt.
“At Grafunkt, we believe in collaborating with brands whom we share the same beliefs – bringing great design to the people,” say Nathan Yong and Jefery Kurniadidjaja, co-founders of Grafunkt. Muuto and Grafunkt also share a progressive attitude to design. In fact, the name Muuto comes from the Finnish muutos, which means ‘new perspective’.
The brand’s products demonstrate a very Scandinavian emphasis on craftsmanship and honest expression, but they do so with a fresh attitude.
The Enfold Sideboard by Thomas Bentzen transplants industrial lacquered steel into the domestic realm. The modular Stacked Storage System by Julien De Smedt can be arranged however you’d like. And Anderssen & Voll’s Outline sofa was created as a translation of some of the elemental and poetic qualities the designers find inspiring in modern architecture.
“It is a brand that strikes a good balance in terms of furniture range, allowing us to better cater to our consumers’ needs” says Kurniadidjaja. View the range at Grafunkt Millenia Walk.
