The Gaudi table from MisuraEmme recalls the structural language of Antonio Gaudi’s magnificent Sagrada Familia cathedral in Spain.
January 6th, 2017
The work that began on Antonio Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia cathedral back in 1882 is now approaching its final years of construction.
As the emblematic towers continue to rise up, many continue to pay visit the breathtaking structure, inspired by its magnificence. Similarly inspired, designer Ferruccio Laviani has combined the Scandinavian and Catalan design sensibility to create the Gaudi table for MisuraEmme.
The Gaudi table is a lively combination of spans and intersections. The rounded top comes in black-stained oak, and the finely crafted solid-wood base structure features angled legs and brace elements. The overall outcome is a beautiful balance between form and function.
