Flexform introduces the Campiello – a versatile and welcoming sofa for modern tastes courtesy of Italian designer Antonio Citterio.
September 14th, 2018
Italian design house Flexform has launched the latest in its legacy of refined seating – the Campiello sofa. The most recent launch in an exceptional family of sofas designed by Antonio Citterio, the sofa combines clean, uncluttered lines with a promise of inviting warmth and amazing softness.
Its seat cushions are made from a core insert of crush-proof material wrapped in a generous, soft layer of goose down. As such, this is a sofa that not only looks enticingly comfortable now, but also retains its comfort as it ages. Goose down also fills the back cushions, creating an enveloping softness that welcomes each person as they recline into comfort. A custom cushion roll is also available, allowing for different aesthetic and ergonomic effects. With the cushion roll, an ergonomic back and neck support is felt without compromising on comfort.
The Campiello sofa sits on elegant cast aluminium or bronzed legs in a variety of finishes. Its versatile personality allows it to fit easily into any setting, from the classic to the contemporary. Its profile requests rather than demands attention, and is equally at ease upholstered in any of the fabrics and leathers in the Flexform collection.
Flexform is Italian through and through. The leather, fabrics, woods, metals and upholstery are local and selected with strict criteria by discerning artisans and designers. Flexform is world famous for its sofas; soft, large cushions and comfortable designs are the stylistic signature of the brand, and the Campiello sofa is the next step in a legacy that extends back over 50 years.
The materials that make their range bring lightness, warmth and softness into discerning designer-friendly homes from Italy to the world over. The Flexform range of sofas channel the classic style of Italian design, inside and out. The Campiello sofa is a piece that’s not only comfortable and beautiful – it’s a statement on the legacy of Italian design.
In Singapore, Flexform is available from the Flexform Singapore Flagship Store.
