JANUS et Cie crafts indoor furniture that echo the durability, intricacy, and refinement of its outdoor pieces.

Most of the outdoor furniture by JANUS et Cie are so beautifully crafted that they can also be used indoors to complement other furniture or to serve as statement pieces. One of the advantages of using premium outdoor furniture indoors is that they possess an unrivalled quality, having been made to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.
With the same level of attention to high-quality craftsmanship and materiality, JANUS et Cie also crafts indoor-specific furniture. A case in point, Kyoto – one of its latest collections – is meticulously woven using premium Manao rattan – the highest grade of the rattan palm family available. Drawing inspiration from traditional Asian artistry, the handcrafted series sports refined and intricate details without compromising on comfort. Clean lines harmonise with smooth curves seamlessly, injecting a sense of balance and stability and grounding the entire collection. Quite aptly, Kyoto was named after the Japanese city where a rich craft culture and strong heritage prevail.
Varying patterns grace the back of the two-seater and three-seater Kyoto sofas in a side-by-side fashion, adhering to the longstanding belief of Janice Feldman, President of JANUS et Cie, that a piece of furniture should be beautiful from all angles.
The Kyoto collection, comprising a lounge chair, petite lounge chair, two-seater and three-seater sofas, an ottoman and side tables, can be crafted in various finishes including Ebony, Concorde (yellow), Papyrus (green), Grey Wash, Sequoia (warm brown) and Sycamore (white wash). It can also be mixed and matched with JANUS et Cie’s other rattan ranges such as Nishiki, Kami and Panini.
These pieces will endure the rigours of constant usage, making them ideal for residential, hospitality, corporate, and retail projects.
