Renowned French designer Pierre Paulin has passed away at the age of 81. An important member of the furniture design community, Paulin has pieces in museums around the world.
Known best for his ‘Ribbon chair’, ‘Orange Slice’, ‘Tongue’, ‘Little Tulip’ and ‘Mushroom’ designs.
Paulin has works exhibited in collections in Museum of Modern Art (NY), the Museum of Decorative Arts (Paris) and London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.
Pierre Paulin will be greatly missed by the global design community.
