The Design Institute of Australia (WA) presents a cross-disciplinary talk featuring six highly respected and diverse Australian and International designers. Titled ‘Icons of Design’, the talk covers the design journey of the speakers, all from various design disciplines – product, graphic, philosophy, architecture, interior and branding.
The speakers include:
• Neil Poulton [pictured] – a Scottish-born product designer, internationally renowned for his sophisticated lighting designs.
• Paul Woods – a US-based ‘brand-aiding’ graphic designer.
• Ken Friedman – a widely published design philosopher.
• David Hicks – an Australian and award-winning interior designer.
• Paul Pholeros – an influential and leading Australian, sustainable architect.
• Ian Mutch – a Western Australian graphic designer, who will discuss the thriving street art culture.
