From Wednesday 4 August until Saturday 25 Sep 2010, the Gallery of Australian Design will be hosting Design Media in Australia – an exhibition promoting published design in Australia.
Curated by Jas Hugonnet, the exhibition will model itself on a trade fair in which Australia’s premier design magazines have been asked to create a free-standing installation for visitors to interact with their product.
The maximum allocated space for each title is 1.8 x 1.8 meters squared and each installation has been made off site, meaning that each must work in a free-standing space and not be dependent on the fixed walls in the gallery.
