The Grand Prize Winners of the 2008 Corian® Design Awards have been announced. The Residential Award has gone to Minosa design for their work on the Dover Heights project.
“Key features which captured the Judges was the choice of Corian® for the kitchen, where the seamless finishing of the long and wide benchtop was paramount in achieving the right look. Furthermore, Corian® was used for its UV [stability] qualities in a kitchen which starts indoors and extends to the outdoors.”
The Commercial Category Grand Prize Winner is Thomas Jacobsen for his recent work on The Beresford Hotel in Sydney. “Attention to detail is everything in design, and the Judges felt that Thomas had left no stone unturned in his quest to create something different and elegant in the Beresford Hotel project.”
