One renowned industrial design studio that is not afraid to use design to challenge our conceptions of work is the UK-based studio Barber & Osgerby.

In a video by Vitra, you can take a look inside the working office of Barber & Osgerby. Located in central London, the designers open up about the changing habits, and changing requirements of a modern office environment.

Through this line of thinking, the duo has designed a new piece of furniture that responds to these changing workplace cultures.

Technology has taken over our working (and personal) lives, enabling people to essentially work from anywhere. So it only follows that with this newfound flexibility can be liberated from our desks.
