What’s better than a party to cap off a full day of design immersion? We wrapped up Saturday Indesign Singapore 2019 with nibbles, tipples and more catch-ups at the Fritz Hansen Lounge.
October 18th, 2019
The 2019 edition of Saturday Indesign on 12 October brought people from Singapore’s architecture and design community and beyond for a day packed to the brim with immersive design experiences that included talks, installations, showcases, demos, contest and special collaborations! Click here for the recap!
And what’s better to round off such a happening day than a fabulous party in a fabulous setting? This year we thank our sponsors, partners, speakers, collaborators and VIPs with a closing party hosted at the Fritz Hansen Lounge, courtesy of W.Atelier.
Designed by Jaime Hayon, the Fritz Hansen Lounge unfolds in a series of cozy spaces articulated with pale terrazzo, wood, pops of colours and Hayon’s signature whimsical patterns that served as a perfect setting to mingle, relax and follow up or relive the day’s activities with old and new industry friends.
“What we love the most from Saturday Indesign is bringing the community together,” said Cubes and Indesignlive.sg editor Narelle Yabuka. “This year especially, we also have many design enthusiasts who are not necessarily practising professionals, but keen to understand what we do and that certainly would make our lives easier.”
Saturday Indesign is about community as much as design, and every year we feel how important that sense of community is. When our design community is united and informed, we have a great basis for growth and development.
