INDE.Awards celebrates people who have attained great success and respect in the sphere of architecture and design.
27 July, 2022
Each year the INDE.Awards celebrates a person who, through their work, has attained great success and respect in the sphere of architecture and design and this is reflected by The Luminary category. This year however, we have changed the format of the category and instead of only one Luminary there are four. Each is recognised for the outstanding contribution in their own particular sphere of creativity that encompasses four different areas of design – architecture, interiors, product design and multi-disciplinarian practice.
The four Luminaries we celebrate this year have been featured as Luminaries over the past 12 months within Indesign or Cubes magazines and they are,
The Architect, Nonda Katsalidis, Fender Katsalidis, Australia
The Interior Designer, Meryl Hare, Hare + Klein, Australia
The Product Designer, Nathan Yong, Nathan Yong Design, Singapore
The Multi-disciplinarian Practitioner, Marisa Yiu, ESKYIU, China.
In tribute to their incredible talent, body of work and inspirational professional journeys, each will be celebrated at the INDE.Awards gala in Melbourne on the 4th August. At this time, we can fully highlight and showcase each Luminary’s particular contribution to architecture and design in the Indo-Pacific region. We extend an invitation to everyone, to join us in Melbourne to gather together and pay tribute to these four extraordinary Luminaries and indeed to celebrate all the winners of the 2022 INDE.Awards.
