Tony Schiavello, a furniture maker by trade, migrated to Australia from Italy in the 1950s, bringing with him the tenacity and can-do attitude that drove him to set up a business providing interior fit out and supplying and installing partitions to Melbourne businesses.
Schiavello, a then small family business, was established in 1966 by Tony, with the support of his younger brother Joe, and a growing loyal team of dedicated people who shared the vision for absolute client care.
Since then, Schiavello has expanded into a multi-disciplinary, global organisation that employs over 1,300 people, and operates from 10 showrooms, six manufacturing plants, and an award-winning headquarters in Tullamarine, Victoria.
