The Kokuyo Group was established in 1905, which was only a store producing covers of account books (Japanese books) for general use in Japan at that time.
Later, Kokuyo Group was engaged in the production of Japanese account books, western account books and memo pad. A solid foundation for the enterprise was laid based on the paper manufacturing industry.
After the middle period of 20th Century, the business scope of the company was expanded from paper products to all writing materials, office supplies and store furniture and the company has grown up into the largest supplier of comprehensive office supplies in Japan.
Kokuyo’s furniture business is involved in the production and sale of office furniture, store fixtures and furniture for public spaces, as well as the configuration of various kinds of public and commercial spaces.
