For Tom Dixon’s first stopover on his Australia-Asia tour, XTRA in Singapore pulled out all the stops with a pop up pizzeria decked out in the designer’s latest works.
February 26th, 2013
The event, which was held on 20 February, kicked off with an intimate luncheon for Dixon and guests from the hospitality and design industry. XTRA in collaboration with Kith Café served up tasty, sizzling pizzas specially prepared at the show kitchen located on XTRA’s main store window. The space was furnished with Tom Dixon’s latest products, such as the Etch Web Suspension in Stainless Steel and the Drum Stool, and recent works like the Lustre Collection and Fin Lamp Collection.
The rest of the afternoon was opened to the public, who, if they were lucky, could get up close with the man himself.
