Located at Pacific Plaza on Scotts Road, &Made is helmed by three-Michelin Starred Chef Bruno Menard, whose menu can best be described as ‘everyday food but with a gourmet twist’. One can expect to find casual dishes such as salads and burgers that have been playfully reinvented in a challenge to tradition.
The interior, designed by The Stripe Collective, faithfully reflects this adventurous spirit. The lines and materials within the space are all rooted in the traditional then reimagined in new or unconventional shapes and forms.
Take the classic French paneling, which jump from wall to ceiling, where fabric conduits connect to form modern day ‘circuit board’ patterns that in turn receive illumination from industrial pendant light fixtures.
Ceramic ambient lighting inspired by Pop Art forms juxtapose against classic mosaic. Traditional French mosaic also evolve into complex pixelated murals, forming quirky characters and cheeky phrases, and connecting the digital world to an age old material. To anchor this visual feast, classic black and white tiles are applied everywhere, forming patterns reminiscent of sounds levels on a stereo.
