HASSELL has appointed John Stenton as a Principal and the Studio Manager of its Bangkok studio.
Stenton brings experience as a partner for an international multidisciplinary firm together with his more recent role as the Group Architecture Director for a regional Asian practice; he has been based in Bangkok for the past 6 years.
“Having worked in Asia since 1992 and permanently since 2005, I am familiar with the working environment and the cultural aspects,” says Stenton.
“I believe my mentoring and knowledge-sharing skills will add another dimension to the already strong, established HASSELL Bangkok studio and I relish the prospect presented by the opportunities and challenges over the coming months and years.
“My focus will be to consolidate and build on our design reputation and client relationships and to continue a succession of exciting projects in the region such as dtac House, PTTEP Headquarters and Danang Golf Club. I will also be working to maintain and reinforce the HASSELL philosophy and brand culture, both within the studio and the wider sphere of Bangkok and the Southeast Asia region.”
