We’ve launched a brand new online news source for architecture and design. And with that, our media network across the globe has just gotten bigger.
August 22nd, 2013
Since its inception in 2011, Indesignlive.asia has been casting its nets wide to bring you the latest and most pertinent news on design and architecture in Asia and around the world. Now, after many months of planning, it is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of Indesignlive.hk, our new sister website dedicated to covering news on the industry in Hong Kong, greater China, and further afield.
Following the successful format of Indesignlive.asia, and sister website Indesignlive.com – reporting on news in Australia, the Asia Pacific region and globally – Indesignlive.hk will cover stories across the categories of People, Projects, Products, Parties and Events, and bring it all direct to the desktops and mobile devices of architects, designers and the creative community every day.
The website is headed by newly appointed online editor Noelle Walker, an Australian journalist with a passion for design and architecture, who has worked for several major online news and publishing organisations prior to her post at Indesignlive.hk.
“I look forward to promoting our new and exciting online platform within the region – in line with our sister sites, Indesignlive.hk connects readers with news content and is a solid and reliable source that will monitor the growth of design within this vibrant and progressive city,” says Noelle.
“In communication with the Group’s talented and global editors strategically positioned in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, London, New York and India, I am confident that together we will deliver the latest and greatest of industry happenings to our readers.”
Explaining the Group’s expansion into the region, CEO Raj Nandan says the decision was driven by the successful launch of Indesignlive.asia two years ago, and the sophisticated growth witnessed within the Hong Kong design and architecture scene.
“The city is now a leader in design here in Asia and is primed and ready for a design news website like Indesignlive.hk. We are very excited to be taking a formula that already enjoys much success in Australia and around Asia to the Hong Kong market,” says Nandan.
