The Schiavello and Bene Partnership Arrives in Singapore

Following a successful partnership in Australia and New Zealand this year, Schiavello and Bene has announced its expansion to Southeast Asia in Singapore. The strategic move aligns to a shift in the perception of what constitutes a productive and modern workplace amongst corporations and designers within this region in recent years.

The partnership reinforces multiple synergies between Schiavello and Bene. For example, both companies believe in fostering deep-seated connections between workplace design and company cultures, rather than simply offering good design.

Founded in Austria in 1790 as a family carpentry business, prior to its shift to specialise in office furniture in 1950, Bene revitalises workspaces today by combining contemporary, high-quality design with innovative technology, as it considers the ‘office as a living space’.

Collaborating with clients and partners worldwide, Bene creates office furniture that addresses the complex challenges of modern day working environments from enhancing collaboration within the office to solving productivity issues.

The Docklands designed by Pearson Lloyd offers working flexibility. The design incorporates screened personal workspaces to enable the individual to engage in temporary or longer-termed work privately, as a ‘protected bay’ allows one to ‘dock in’ and tune in to work mode, despite a busy office.

Another furniture programme designed by Pearson Lloyd, Parcs promotes spontaneous exchange, personal encounters and team work. With five basic components – Causeway, Toguna, Wing series, Club Chairs and Idea Wall, available in multiple sizes and configurations – media integration remains key in this design, as Parcs supports ‘mobile’ work or presentation set ups. The Idea Wall acts as a ‘divider’, which ensures that Parcs caters to the needs of open office environments.

“As a trendsetter in the industry, Bene represents constant innovation and premium quality in office design. Our sales activities are therefore focused on customer groups driven by innovative design solutions,” says Michael Fried, Member of Executive Board Bene AG.

Bene’s philosophy adheres to Schiavello’s mission to transform the workplace landscape, as it strives to deliver “intelligent, inspiring, ecological and resilient solutions for the office, the home and public spaces.”

Combining the capabilities of both companies – Bene’s responsive, diverse and innovative products, as well as Schiavello’s local expertise, network and track record – the design and business community in Southeast Asia will now have greater access to unique office solutions.
