Indesign Publisher and CEO Raj Nandan has been invited to to be part of the expert judging panel for the prestigious Red Dot Product Design award, which recognises excellence in design and fosters new talent in the sector.

The relationship between Indesign and Red Dot began in 2011 with Red Dot Asia supporting the inaugural Saturday Indesign Singapore event by hosting both the opening and closing parties at the Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore. In
2012 this collaboration was expanded with a space in the museum being made available for Saturday Indesign exhibits. Throughout this time, Indesign Publisher and CEO Raj Nandan (pictured above) has been invited to lend his experience and expertise in design to the jury for the Asian Design Award. In a testament to the strengthening of the relationship between Red Dot and Indesign, this year Mr Nandan has been invited to be part of the global jury for the Red Dot head office in Essen, Germany. Other jurors include Mårten Claesson of Claesson Koivisto Rune, Hideshi Hamaguchi of Ziba Design and monogoto and Dr Luisa Bocchietto, National President of the Association for Industrial Design in Italy. Red Dot Design Museum Singapore Since 1955, the Red Dot accolade has stood for belonging to the best in design and business. The international design competition, the “Red Dot Design Award”, is aimed at all those who would like to distinguish their business activities through design. The distinction is based on the principle of selection and presentation. The Red Dot Institute filters the results of the Red Dot Design Award according to different criteria and on application calculates the design value of companies that have received the Red Dot.
