ILVE’s new dual fuel gas and induction cooktop offers the best of both worlds in one sleek, ingenious design.
January 2nd, 2012
For those who love the tradition of a gas cooktop but find themselves casting their eye to the sleek look and technology of an induction, ILVE has come up with a solution that offers the best of both.
Part of the ILVE Quadra freestanding collection, designed by the prestigious Chef’s Du Maison Union, the new ILVE 90cm dual fuel gas and induction provides a large cooking surface with the means to simmer, fry, boil or braise whatever you can throw at it!
Taking centrestage is a much-revered two-zone induction hob, which creates instantaneous heat and immediate temperature control. Sitting ingeniously above the induction zone is ILVE’s renowned Tepanyaki hot plate, easily removable for a quick change between the 2.
Surrounding the Induction/Tepanyaki zone, the ample range of gas hobs includes a triple ring all-purpose wok burner. Each hob features precision burner controls, flame failure cut-out safety devices, deep recessed spill trays, heavy duty cast iron trivets and burner caps finished in matt black.
Down below, the oven incorporates chef quality features. Culinary heights once thought unobtainable are now within reach thanks to a giant 110-litre capacity and features such as the pizza, bread and pastry cooking settings, rotisserie and Quickstart preheating function, scorching from 0-180˚C in only 8 minutes.
Simply put, if it’s not here, you don’t need it!
