The world’s first GROHE Live! Center in Singapore to educate architects, designers and developers on the company’s sanitary fittings.
17 April, 2011
The inaugural GROHE Live! Center, which opened in Singapore recently, is a S$1-million facility that provides architects, designers and developers with hands-on experience of GROHE solutions.
Located on Clemenceau Avenue, the 5,700 square feet centre features GROHE sanitary fittings such as the award-winning digital shower range GROHE Ondus. Visitors get to learn how GROHE’s solutions can be applied to their fields, and the key technology, design and installation elements of bathroom and kitchen fittings.
This new centre is also part of the German brand’s aggressive investment and expansion plan in Singapore and Asia Pacific.
“The launch of the first GROHE Live! Center in Singapore, which is our Asia headquarters, is an important milestone for the company on a global level. It is part of our strategy to continue to dominate the EUR 4 billion sanitary fittings market in the region,” says CEO of Grohe AG, David Haines.
“With Asia continuing to be our fastest-growing region, we are not only expanding our sales and distribution network to make GROHE products more accessible to consumers; we are now also investing in a completely new facility in Singapore that allows our partners in the building and construction industry to learn first-hand what GROHE and quality sanitary fittings are all about.”
The company also plans to use the GROHE Live! Center as a venue to educate staff and industry partners on sustainable bathroom fittings as well as to hold training and workshops in its in-built auditorium.
Similar facilities will be introduced in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Mumbai over the next few years.
