Smeg’s retro FAB28 refrigerators enjoy a cult following around the world, and it’s no surprise, considering the way the design adeptly merges nostalgia with eye-popping colours and all sorts of innovative new materials and design combinations
The latest FAB28 Chocolate ups the cool factor and here’s why. Its glossy surface features a speckled gold effect, while the handle and logo match up in brilliant gold.
Apart from the luxury factor, the new FAB promises excellent performance. Rated class A++, the fridge guarantees low energy consumption and maximum respect for the environment. An ample 256-litre capacity, including a freezer box with a capacity of 26 litres also ensures there’s comfortable room to store your food.
The latest design received a warm reception when it first previewed at the Living Kitchen exhibition in Cologne in early 2011, and adds to the already colourful family of FAB28s.
