Space planning contest at bulthaup
The crowd was out early at the new bulthaup showroom along Armenian Street, not only to take in their renown mobile and ’floating’ kitchen concepts, but to gamely test out their space planning skills on miniature kitchen cardboard ’modules’ for the chance to win great bulthaup premiums.
Art Plural Gallery
Art enthusiasts then took a little side stop to view a solo exhibition by acclaimed French artist Bernar Venet over at the neighbouring Art Plural Gallery.
Down at the new GROHE Live! Center, the latest innovations in bathrooms were the major draw. GROHE also invited guests to strike a pose with the Icon hand shower for the chance to win an Icon hand shower of their own.

APS Lifestyle Marketing
In the afternoon, freshly baked cookies and coffee over at the APS Lifestyle gallery were delicious precursors to a cooking/design demonstration by Tina Lai. Local graffiti artist Slac was also there to perform live graffiti on Smeg fridges.
Button making demonstration at Romanez
Upstairs, Romanez displayed their latest Autumn & Winter collection from Designers Guild and invited those with artistic thumbs (and without!) to try their hand at making colourful buttons with fabrics.
Games all through the afternoon at Hansgrohe
Then one stop down the road, Hansgrohe invited guests to view their full range of bathrooms, including designs by Patricia Urquiola and the Bouroullec brothers. For those who were game (and many were), there were yet more contests in the afternoon with fantastic prizes to be won.
