We spend a good portion of the day in our seats. A good chair should therefore be comfortable, and should support the different movements we make.

Enter the Buoy chair, which has been designed to be as active as you are by letting you swivel, turn, tilt and move up and down. The curved base provides up to 12 degrees of tilt for those who enjoy movement to keep the mind sharp.

Buoy is meant for everyone, which is why it offers five and a half inches of height adjustability with the lift of a lever.

The chair comes in 6 bold colours and over 25 fabric options, including designer fabrics such as Maharam and British designer Paul Smith’s Exaggerated Plaid. And because it’s so good you’ll want to take it wherever you go, Buoy is thoughtfully designed to weigh only 20 pounds and comes with a nifty built-in handle.

With all that in mind, it’s hardly surprising that at this year’s Neocon, Buoy came away with the Best of Neocon Innovation Award. The product is now available as an import from North America.
