Research has shown that alternating between a sitting and standing position throughout the day refreshes muscles, reduces the chance of back pain and improves circulation.
Enter Abak Exchange, a height-adjustable workstation that allows you to do just that. At a touch of a button, you can move to a sitting position, with a desk top height adjustment of between 650mm to 850mm, and to a standing position of 1250mm
The product can be reconfigured and adapted with ease where intelligent components allow you to create different layouts – from single desks to asymmetrical clusters.
Abak Exchange also features 3 height mechanisms – pin, crack and electric – and is flexible enough that both the user and facility management can make adjustments as necessary.
The workstation’s Arrail toolbar also enables accessories to ‘travel’ with the desk as it moves from standing to sitting postures and is compatible with Abak Environments and the Sense accessory range.
And in keeping with Herman Miller’s strict environmental policy, the Abak Exchange is 60 per cent recyclable and is made from 43 per cent recyclable content.
Herman Miller is available in Singapore through XTRA.
