At Saturday in Design, Steelcase will be giving visitors the opportunity to paint a public wall mural and design a Think© Art Chair.
Visitors are invited to join Social Creatives, an artist group bent on promoting youth development through various art projects, to create a public mural.
“A public mural is an expression of the arts and connects people and interest groups, strongly supporting The Project 2011 theme of ’Connect’,” Steelcase explain.
For those creative by nature, with an innate desire to express individuality, Steelcase will also be offering the opportunity to collaborate with in-house designers, and do great stuff with almost anything, through a fresh interpretation of the award-winning Think chair.
You’ll be welcomed into an immersive, comfortable gallery where you can choose to view the recently launched Manifesto and Lexicon systems, Media:Scape which merges furniture and technology, i2i and Node Chairs.
A day at Steelcase will be incomplete without some energy-giving refreshments, and while you imbibe, enjoy the entertaining antics of a caricaturist.
“Steelcase is thrilled to participate in Saturday in Design, an event we are familiar with through our successful collaborations in Australia,” said Uli Gwinner, President of Steelcase Asia Pacific.
Don’t miss out on all the fun, get along to the Steelcase Work Life Centre, located at 11C Mount Sophia, Old School.
