A little gold goes a long way in interior design. hansgrohe presents Metropol Classic, a new range of mixers with elegant gold accents created for discerning high-end bathrooms.

Synonymous with wealth, gold is a universal language to express luxury. And a strategic use of gold accent in design can take a space to the next level of opulence. Meet Metropol Classic, a new range of mixers from hansgrohe.
Designed by German kitchen and bathroom specialist Phoenix Design, Metropol Classic was launched at the ISH Fair in Frankfurt last year, and it has now made its way to Singapore.
The Metropol Classic collection sports elegant gold accents on the base, the handles and the spouts of the mixers. The collection’s chrome and gold finishes are created with the help of an elaborate process called PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition), which coats surfaces with the use of vapour in a vacuum chamber. PVD-coated surfaces are exceptionally resistant to scratches and corrosion.
The collection offers three versions of its classic three-hole mixers to suit your bathroom design. Choose a gently curved handle or the ergonomically rounded cross handle for added visual interests, or choose the ‘zero’ handle for a purist, minimalist look.
For the freestanding bathtub, the collection offers an elegant freestanding mixer with a matching chrome and gold baton hand shower. The Metropol Classic washbasin mixers are available in three spout heights to suit the user needs and the shape and size of the washbasin.
The collection all is equipped with Hansgrohe’s EcoSmart technology, which features an aerator in the nozzle that reduces water flow to the environmentally responsible rate of five litres per minute, which can help with meeting building certifications.
Looking to take the glam factor a notch? Hansgrohe has also applied the same surface finish of gold and chrome to its Raindance Classic overhead and hand showers to complement the Metropol Classic line. Like the mixers, these showerheads are also equipped with the EcoSmart Technology.
