The results for this year’s awards are out. A total of 217 concepts have been awarded the “red dot”, while 46 have been honoured with the “red dot: best of the best”.

The top prize of the “red dot: luminary” goes to Float Base Station (a rapidly deployable communications system during a disaster) from two Taiwanese designers, Huang Hsin Ya and Huang Pin Chen.
