February 9th, 2017
The beautiful variations of natural travertine are now captured on ceramic in the TIPOS collection of wall and floor tiles from Ceramics Sant’ Agostino.
TIPOS is a new range of ceramic travertines from Italy that recreates the charming aesthetic of natural travertine stone in porcelain to deliver both striking visual appeal as well as robust strength in interior and exterior applications.
TIPOS by Ceramics Sant’ Agostino pays homage to ceramic artistry and to the soul of a rare selection of travertine stone. Designed in collaboration with Pietre di Rapolano, TIPOS slabs combine well-researched ceramic reproduction techniques with advanced production technologies to bring the beauty of travertine onto porcelain.
The TIPOS series includes TIPOS Bone, TIPOS Sand, TIPOS Silver, TIPOS Ocean and TIPOS White, each tile a subtle expression of refinement and class. The tile collection finds its full artistic expression in the Travertino Rigato slabs, presented in a 60cm x 120cm size and designed to create continuous veining for the perfect tile installation.
TIPOS is manufactured by leading Italian brand Ceramics Sant’ Agostino in the Ferrara region of Italy. The brand’s substantial portfolio includes several stone-inspired porcelain tile collections for walls and floors.
