EDL Compact is a double-sided and self-supporting laminate. Unlike high-pressure laminates, compact laminates do not require bulky substrates, and as a result, can be easily customised and applied to meet the functional requirements and design intent of commercial, healthcare, hospitality, F&B and residential industries.

Designed and made in Italy, EDL Compact is made up of 70% paper and 30% thermosetting resins, manufactured under high pressure and temperature. Its resistance to impact, moisture, heat, stain, scratch and wear makes it highly suitable for areas that are frequently exposed to demanding usage, namely kitchen or bathroom counters. With two thickness – 6mm or 10mm (recommended for kitchen worktops) – EDL Compact is also ideal for cubicles, furniture, wall claddings and partitions.

EDL Compact is available in the super opaque nanotech smart material FENIX NTM, timber surface Alevè or stone series Luna – three diverse, yet versatile finishes that will complement most spaces. To add that finishing touch, be it for functional needs or aesthetic desires, designers can select from three elegant edge profiles including bullnose, chamfer and double flat.
