Italian furniture manufacturer Porro recently marked its 90th year in the business with an exhibition in Singapore.
March 23rd, 2016
Held at Dream, “Cabinet of Curiosities” showcased a series of wooden boxes conceived by leading names in design. The exhibition and project not only highlights the brand’s vast wood selection where a total of 16 different types of wood are offered for its storage/wardrobe collection, but also underscores its capacity to cater to the designer’s specifications.
Some of the designers involved in the project included Piero Lissoni, Neri&Hu, Front, and Alessandro Mendini. The exhibition was first shown at the Porro duriniquindici showroom in Milan during Salone del Mobile 2015, and has since been displayed at various international design events and in the showrooms of its retail partners around the world.
