Is this the way of the future? BW Furniture thinks out of the box with the opening of their new design centre, where clients and the public can freely gather to work, meet, eat and drink in a hospitality-style environment.
November 19th, 2014
When it comes to workplace solutions, BW Furniture stands right on the cutting edge. Over the course of 10 years, the company has built a solid reputation for partnering with leading and innovative brands in workplace design and bringing them to the market.
So when the company recently moved from its previous Singapore address on Niven Road to China Square Central in the heart of the Central Business District, it was a strategic decision in more ways than one.
The new centrally located space places them closer to their clients, and at a generous size of 6,000sqft, it also gives them room to create a new concept space where people can come and experience the latest workplace products and solutions from brands such as Bene, Bolon, HAG, Okamura and Republic of Fritz Hansen (to name a few), as well as great hospitality in one single location.
Central to the new concept space is the Club House, where BW Furniture’s agile working brands come alongside a collaborative F&B set up. Here, one can enjoy complimentary wifi and freely accessible meeting pods; the area lends itself to casual meetings or simply an escape from the traditional workstation.
The Club House also has a fully functioning public cafe, and a restaurant and wine bar called Club Meatballs that comes furnished with products carried by BW Furniture. Both these outlets are the collaborative results between BW Furniture and the famous Sarnies cafe, which is known for its delicious sandwiches and coffee.
Then there’s Club BW, an internet hotspot, private dining area and semi-private dining area that demonstrates how the people of the future will work. The BW Furniture team works from here while interacting with customers who desire a space for meetings, conferences or just a private place to dine. Club BW can cater for private meetings and conferences, and perhaps the kicker is that it also comes with the benefits of the Club Meatballs and the Club House gastronomic experience.
