During Saturday in Design Singapore, bulthaup gave visitors an interesting challenge: take a physical space with unique dimensions and constrictions, and create a fully fitted, well-designed kitchen.

Participants worked on miniature kitchen parts that were crafted in perfect scale according to bulthaup’s b3, a series renowned for its thin worktops and doors and ’floating kitchens’.

Winner Danny Ho

It was a stiff competition but at the end of the day, the winning entry went to Danny Ho, who won for himself an exclusive bulthaup spice mill set.

“The winner’s layout captured the necessity of a kitchen, yet did not make the area appear too heavy.

“The kitchen was also equipped with a sufficient preparation area, and a ’corner’ for a quick snack and/or gathering was even put into consideration,” says Jack Lee, Sales Director of Madison & Associates, the exclusive distributor of bulthaup in Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
