Dedon Dala Collection

Dedon Dala Collection by Stephen Burks

The Dedon Dala Collection is inspired by the skills of artisans and the improvised seating arrangements of the developing world. It is possibly the first collection of woven furniture unifying surface and structure with fibre woven through an aluminium mesh structure. Another first for Dedon was to use fibre created from recycled food-and-drink packaging mixed with recyclable polyethylene. The lightweight lounge chair, pouf, coffee table and side table sit directly on the ground and can be easily transported around the patio or carried down the steps to the beach.

Dedon Swingrest

Dedon Swingrest by Daniel Pouzet

Dedon Swingrest takes its inspiration from the extra-high ceilings found in the villas on Dedon Island. Pouzet (who is co-architect and designer of Dedon Island) also borrows the basket-like bottom from his previous creation, Dedon Nestrest, thus creating a new piece that feels even more spacious (and fits more people) while seeming to take up less space.

Swingrest can also be placed on a rotating base.

Dedon Fedro Lounge Chair

Dedon Fedro Lounge Chair by Lorenza Bozzoli

Fedro is a chair without legs. Balancing on two narrow skids, it allows you to rock back and forth, using your legs and feet to control the movement. Lightweight, portable, stackable and supremely comfortable, Fedro is designed for lounging around the house, tanning by the pool, on the grass, the beach or just about anywhere one fancies.

Dedon SeaX Dining Table

Dedon SeaX Dining Table by Jean-Marie Massaud

The Dedon SeaX Dining Table exudes the same elegance and sophistication as the SeaX folding chair. The tabletop features a single slab of porcelain, in lengths of up to 280cm. Cut by water-jet to 12mm thickness, extruded and compacted, the slab has the lightweight look of a streamlined airplane wing. Available in both round and rectangular sizes.

Dedon is available in Singapore at XTRA.
