Herman Miller are bringing together a collection of their iconic art posters for a unique exhibition, and inviting designers to be a part of it.
June 15th, 2012
Herman Miller’s influence on the design industry is not limited to product design. Equally acclaimed are their iconic posters, many of which hang in the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Now, the company is launching Then x Ten, an exhibition showcasing posters from the past, curated by Herman Miller’s superstar creative director Steve Frykholm, as well as 10 new contemporary interpretations designed by some of the world’s leading artists and illustrators, including Craig Redman and Karl Maier, Sanghon Kim, Keiichi Tanaami and Jonathan Zawada.
In a special twist, they’re also giving YOU the chance to be among some of the greats and be a part of Then x Ten, which opens in Melbourne on August 14 as part of Saturday in Design and will travel across the Asia Pacific in 2012/2013.

The top 10 posters submitted will be chosen to go into the final, which in turn will be judged by the public and Herman Miller’s Facebook fans.
The final winner will be chosen by Steve Frykholm, Creative Director of Herman Miller.

The exhibition will be displayed at Melbourne art gallery fortyfivedownstairs from 14 to 25 August and will tour throughout the Asia Pacific in 2012–2013.
