Close to 300 specially invited guests from the design industry attended the official opening of Singapore’s inaugural SiD event on Wednesday 18 May at the red dot design museum. Also in attendance and giving a speech were VIP guests Jeffrey Ho, Executive Director of DesignSingapore Council and Stefan Diez, designer of the Chassis chair for Wilkhahn. The night was supported by Wilkhahn, official sponsor of the Opening and Closing parties, as well as beverage partners Stella Artois, Appletiser and Absolut Vodka.
