Now and When: Australian Urbanism is being presented for the first time outside of Australia and Italy at the Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) in South Korea from April 25, as part of the Australia Digital Urban Portraits show. The exhibition opened at last year’s Venice Architecture Biennale to over 93,000 visitors, and is also currently on display at Australia’s Gold Coast City Gallery.

Now and When offers a visually stunning and thought-provoking look at the present state of the Australian urban landscape, and its possible future.

’Now’ is led by Creative Director John Gollings and features a sequence of 3D aerial images of Melbourne, Sydney and Surfers Paradise, contrasted with the mining pits at Kalgoorlie and Newman in Western Australia. Shot by Gollings, the series of images highlight the diversity, rapid expansion and development of Australia’s urban landscape.
