Hansgrohe’s new Metris line of mixers provides all levels of comfort – literally.
August 15th, 2011
Phoenix Design has created a new line of mixers for Hansgrohe to meet different user requirements and comfort levels. “The mixer grows in line with the needs,” says Hansgrohe’s product manager Axel Meißner.

The 5 mixers come in different height options and are specially designed to fit varying size, depth and type of ceramic base, as well as individual habits and preferences. For example, Metris 200 and 260 mixers provide ample room to fill watering cans or tall vases, while the Metris 230 mixer has a multifunctional swivel spout that can simply be moved off to one side if needed.

Metrix mixers all share a distinctive form: a sleek, conical body, precise edges and gentle curves ending in a rectangular spout. The lever also features an upward sweep that is inviting to the touch.

The reliable ceramic cartridge makes it easy to adjust water temperature and volume precisely, yet effortlessly. All the models in the new Metris line are also equipped with Hansgrohe EcoSmart technology where an aerator in the spout ensures a constant, economical water flow of around five litres per minute while enriching the water with air bubbles for a pleasantly soft, voluminous jet.
