Held from 16 to 18 November in Mumbai, the first India International Furniture Fair (IIFF) gave local furniture trade professionals an international sourcing platform of around 100 well-known brands and companies from 17 countries, all there to show their latest residential, hospitality and office furniture and products.

China, Singapore and Spain also each marked their presence with a pavilion, while design and industry experts were in attendance to share their forecast of global and local trends with some 2,376 trade visitors.

Other significant programmes included targeted project pitch sessions for trade buyers and a post-show retail business symposium to help international exhibitors gain first-hand knowledge on India’s market from local industry professionals.

With the success of the first, organiser MP International is already setting its sights on a second edition of the trade show.
