Gan Rugs, a brand owned by Valencia-based Gandia Blasco, marries age-old craft with contemporary design, and the results are invariably colourful, richly textured and stunning.
Shown here is the latest Glaoui collection designed by Sandra Figuerola, who also created the Espacio Toureg rugs and seating for Gan.

Glaoui is made using a Moroccan ancestral technique that employs 3 different methods: embroidered, woven and knotted.
Tumbuctu (neutral)
Today, this craft can only be found in certain regions of Morocco – amongst nomadic groups who make them by hand – but Gan has developed the infrastructure to bring these designs around the world.
