Today’s bathroom is an oasis of personal wellbeing – a place to pamper and rejuvenate oneself, and a far cry from the more utilitarian space it was in the past. Yet the bathroom remains one of the most demanding areas within the built environment, especially today when user experience is the keyword.
Smart technologies in the bathroom are to be enjoyed, not seen. They are expected to be seamlessly integrated into the products and feature an intuitive user interface for ease of use. Kohler has made fulfilling all these demands seem effortless with its latest products and innovation.
The new Real Rain shower recreates the exhilarating experience of a summer rainstorm. It features an innovative spray-face design with a unique nozzle geometry that adjusts the size of the water droplets to simulate rain. An internal reservoir relies on gravity (rather than pressure) to shape the water flow and allows for an on-demand ‘deluge’.
The Modern Life toilet raises the bar on the ease of maintenance while looking chic and timeless. Optimised for ease of cleaning, Modern Life features a streamlined design that includes a slim stacked seat with an invisible hinge (with the option of adding nightlight and deodorisation functions) and a stain-resistant coating.
Many of Kohler’s faucets – such as the Composed and Avid faucets – are finished using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology. This is an atomic-level coating that enhances the product’s resistance to scratches and corrosion and yields a lustrous and durable surface. Kohler’s PVD finish is available in a wide variety of colours, so you can pick one that suits your bathroom style.
